At G.A.B.B.A aka Great American Burger Boutique and Ale our goal is to bring our guest a top notch burger along with excellent service.
As some of you may know,
Yelp works by a filter system and many of the positive reviews never get published to the yelp site. Fortunatly for us the CTRL >C button works great! Especially for a newbie restaurant like us trying to establish ourselves. Here are a few of the "filtered" reviews you don't get to see. Thanks again for the continued support and words of encouragement.
The team here at G.A.B.B.A. strive to bring you the best dining experience possible so please keep the feedback coming. We look forward welcoming you back real soon!

"I have now been to G.A.B.B.A three times and have enjoyed it every time. I have 15+ years of restaurant experience, everything from hosting all the way to General Manager and I have to admit I am very critical of restaurants. G.A.B.B.A has been great every visit. What strikes me as most memorable is that the staff is good at their jobs, this can so often be the weak point in a new restaurant. They are attentive without being pushy and most importantly when you are ready to go they deliver the check and process the payment quickly (in my opinion one of the most important tasks for wait staff). I have had a burger every time also, and they have always been cooked perfectly, the spices are there but I love food with flavor so it didn't bother me. If you want a bland burger, go somewhere else. Most fun thing to do is Karaoke Night out on the deck on Thursday nights. It is still new so there isn't a long wait to sing if that's your desire. I'm not a singer but love karaoke nights, they are always a fun and relaxing way to enjoy a meal out, I've gone twice for it and plan to go back again soon. All in all, give G.A.B.B.A a try, it is SO NICE to spend my money with a small business and support someone local than to just pour more money into a huge chain that could care less about your business."

"Great neighborhood addition. The variety on the menu and in the bar are amazing. Plus, they have the best burger's ever. REALLY. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Much of the art work is By the owner. We're definitely going back."

"I've been there three times now. First couple of times, it was after work. The wings were good both times. The sweet potato tater tots were very good also.I went there with my son on Sunday, and the burgers were great. My son had the Hawaiian burger. He liked it very much, but wondered if the teriyaki sauce was the right topping. I had the Popeye burger. It is a turkey burger with spinach. They mix corn and black beans into the meat, which helps the turkey not be dry. I really liked the french fries. The wait staff was overly involved in our meal yesterday. It was their grand opening and they were trying real hard to please, a nice change from the slow service of the previous two establishments in the space. However, you really shouldn't ask about dessert when you do your early visit to make sure the meal is OK."

"For a new restaurant, I am very pleased to report that I really like this place! The decor is inviting, the wait staff is friendly and most importantly I had a great chicken burger! GABBA features TVs, indoor and outdoor dining, and nice looking bar! I can't comment on the drinks because it was a lunch visit but I intend on returning very soon! Great job"

"I have had lunch and dinner at G.A.B.B.A, it lived up to all my expectations! This place has the best salmon and burgers I have had yet in Duluth/Norcross area. I have had many selections there because I have gone for dinner and lunch. I have had chicken salad, fried pickles, salmon salad, green salad and the best black and bleu burger! I ordered my burger well done and even being well done, it was perfection. It was still very moist and had the right amount of flavor. I was very impressed with the food and drinks. I will be going back often and recommend all of you to try this because I know you will all enjoy the drinks and food! Amazing!"

"Being the foodie that we are, we were very apprehensive. Living at close quarters was the motivation! But may I tell you that their fried okra - which we got as an appetizer, was just perfect. Lightly fired with a golden color - almost like a panko light mix - yum! The Southern burger has the right amount of sweet and kick - bacon marmalade and Georgia farm pimento. We also tried the feta cheese layered Socrates burger - very good as well. Lets get the locals out to this place after the last few made guest appearances at the same location! Way to go Brian and team - we'll be back!"
